Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Upon your arrival at Leh Airport (3,500 meters above sea level), our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Since Leh is located at a high altitude, the first half of the day is reserved for complete rest and acclimatization to help your body adjust to the environment. In the evening, if your health permits, visit the peaceful Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh town and the surrounding Himalayan ranges. Continue to the vibrant Leh Market, where you can explore local handicrafts, Tibetan souvenirs, woolen garments, and traditional Ladakhi cuisine. Return to the hotel for a delicious dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2

Day 2: Sham Valley Excursion

After an early breakfast, begin a full-day excursion to the scenic Sham Valley, one of Ladakh's most popular sightseeing circuits. Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, dedicated to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army. Continue to the sacred Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, followed by the fascinating Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to move uphill against gravity. Proceed to the spectacular Sangam Point, where the Indus and Zanskar Rivers meet, creating a stunning natural landscape. Depending on time, you may also visit SECMOL (Rancho School), made famous by the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots. Return to Leh in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Day 3: Khardung La Pass

After breakfast, embark on an unforgettable drive to Nubra Valley via the legendary Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the world's highest motorable roads. Stop at the pass to capture breathtaking photographs of the snow-covered Himalayan peaks before descending into the picturesque Nubra Valley. Visit the ancient Diskit Monastery, home to the magnificent 106-foot Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Later, head to Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy an optional ride on the famous Double Hump Bactrian Camels, unique to this region. Spend the evening soaking in the serene beauty of Nubra Valley before checking into your hotel or luxury camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Day 4: Nubra Valley

After breakfast, check out and drive towards the world-famous Pangong Lake, passing through picturesque mountain villages and breathtaking landscapes. The journey itself is one of the highlights of the trip, offering spectacular views of rugged mountains, winding roads, and crystal-clear streams. Upon reaching Pangong Lake, be mesmerized by its stunning turquoise waters, which change colors throughout the day depending on the sunlight. Spend leisure time walking along the lakeshore, capturing unforgettable photographs, and experiencing the tranquility of this iconic destination featured in several Bollywood films. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a lakeside camp or hotel near Pangong Lake.

Day 5

Day 5: Pangong Lake

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Pangong Lake, a magical experience that paints the lake in vibrant shades of blue and gold. After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh via the scenic Chang La Pass (17,590 ft), another high-altitude mountain pass offering panoramic Himalayan views. En route, visit the magnificent Thiksey Monastery, one of Ladakh's largest and most beautiful monasteries, known for its impressive architecture and giant Maitreya Buddha statue. Continue to Shey Palace, the former summer residence of Ladakh's royal family, where you can admire ancient Buddhist relics and beautiful valley views. Reach Leh by evening, check into your hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax with an overnight stay.

Day 6

Day 6: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
