Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Upon your arrival at Leh Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist you with a comfortable transfer to your hotel. Since Leh is located at an altitude of approximately 11,500 feet above sea level, it is highly recommended to spend the first few hours relaxing and acclimatizing to avoid altitude sickness. After checking in and enjoying some rest, head out in the evening for a leisurely visit to the iconic Shanti Stupa, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Leh town and the surrounding Himalayan mountains. Later, explore the vibrant Leh Main Market, where you can shop for traditional Ladakhi handicrafts, woollen garments, souvenirs, prayer flags, and local delicacies. Return to the hotel for dinner and enjoy an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing

After a delicious breakfast, begin your exciting sightseeing tour of the famous Sham Valley. Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, maintained by the Indian Army, showcasing the history, culture, and bravery of soldiers stationed in Ladakh. Continue to the revered Gurudwara Shri Pathar Sahib, a sacred Sikh shrine surrounded by scenic mountains. Enjoy spectacular views of snow-covered peaks, winding mountain roads, and breathtaking valleys while stopping at scenic viewpoints for photography. On reaching Nubra Valley, visit the historic Diskit Monastery, home to the magnificent 106-foot Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Later, proceed to the famous Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can experience an optional ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels found only in this region. Visit the magnificent Thiksey Monastery, one of Ladakh's largest and most beautiful monasteries, known for its impressive architecture and giant Maitreya Buddha statue. Continue to the historic Shey Palace, once the summer capital of Ladakh's royal family, offering panoramic valley views. Later, visit the famous Druk Padma Karpo School, popularly known as the Rancho School from the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots. Depending on your flight schedule, you may also enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping at Leh Market.
