Day 1

Day 1: Guwahati Arrival

Welcome to the enchanting state of Meghalaya! Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, our representative will warmly greet you and assist you with your journey towards Shillong, popularly known as the "Scotland of the East." En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake (Barapani Lake), one of Meghalaya's most iconic attractions. Surrounded by lush green hills, this serene reservoir offers breathtaking views and is an ideal place for photography. Guests can also enjoy optional boating and water sports (at an additional cost). Continue your scenic drive to Shillong and check in to your hotel. After some relaxation, spend your evening exploring the vibrant Police Bazaar, famous for shopping, local handicrafts, traditional Khasi items, street food, and cafés.
