Day 1

Day 1: Guwahati Arrival

Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist you with your transfer to Shillong, the beautiful capital of Meghalaya, popularly known as the "Scotland of the East." The journey from Guwahati to Shillong takes approximately 3 hours and offers stunning views of lush green hills and winding mountain roads. On the way, stop at the breathtaking Umiam Lake (Barapani Lake), one of Meghalaya's most iconic attractions. Surrounded by pine-covered hills, this serene lake is an ideal place for photography, sightseeing, and relaxation. Guests may also enjoy optional boating activities (at an additional cost). After reaching Shillong, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, head to the vibrant Police Bazaar, the city's most famous shopping and entertainment hub.
